MARS has much to celebrate & many to thank for its 2008 season. Our annual End-of-the-Year Social recaps the year, recognizes graduating seniors, allows the team to thanks sponsors/supporters and is just plain fun. This email was sent to team members regarding plans that are underway.

Save the date May 14th from 6:00-8:00 PM. We need more chefs to bring forth their magic.
Email me so I know what you are bringing and what we need to supplement the feast.

The 2008 GA Championship was amazing. This was the 3rd time that our 4 year old team was able to attend and compete. Hats off to all.

The Jupiter High School Robotics team and the Inlet Grove/Suncoast High Schools Robotics team won prestigious awards at the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) competition held in Orlando this past weekend. The Jupiter "Mars" team received the Regional Chairman's Award* which honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST. The award helps keep the central focus of the FIRST Robotics Competition on the goal of inspiring greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology.

1. Signed TLE Form
2. Signed and Notarized Medical Treatment Form
3. Signed FIRST consent form

Things to Know for Competition! To win FIRST awards, we have to stand out & impress.

MARS’ “Uniform”:

Thursday:
Students: Wear MARS black Sikorsky t-shirt, blue jeans (no shorts), closed toed shoes.
Mentors: Wear Black polo if have one, blue jeans (no shorts), closed toed shoes.
Friday:
All: Wear Red Mars jersey, long black pants, and “fuzzy” hats in the stands.
Saturday:
All: Wear Red MARS jersey, long black pants, and “fuzzy” hats in the stands.
